Welcome!

Hi friends!  My name is Jenny. Thanks so much for stopping by!  My purpose here is to share nuggets of inspiration, recipes, and heart lessons that spur you on in your life journey. God has created you uniquely and has a blueprint for your life that aligns with your passions, giftings, and calling!  My desire is that we all walk in the fullness of who He created us to be, so that we can make the biggest impact in each of our worlds. Part of being able to walk fully is to be the healthiest versions of ourselves – spirit, soul, and body.  I want to help equip you to be your healthiest you, and to me, that means getting back to the ancient paths, God’s original design laid out in Scripture, creation, and echoed throughout history.

I’m passionate about sourcing the highest quality food in its most natural form and then creating nourishing, simple recipes from my home to yours!  God made the human body, and He created the foods that nourish us as well as the herbs and plants that treat our ailments. This looks like grassfed beef, pasture-raised free range chickens and eggs, raw A2 grassfed dairy, freshly milled ancient grain sourdough bread, organic garden fresh vegetables and fruit, plant oils, and herbal remedies.

My dream is to have a small homestead someday! In the meantime, I enjoy building my skills toward that dream. I love Jesus with all my heart and know that we are not complete without Him!  He created us as 3-part beings:  We are an eternal spirit, we have a soul (comprised of our mind, will, and emotions), and we live in a physical body.  We are called to steward all three parts. If one part is suffering, it affects the other two parts.  Though a lot of what I share will be related to nutrition and recipes, you will see this holistic theme woven throughout the pages of this site.

I am married to my husband Rodney, and we have two amazing boys, Joshua and Samuel. We currently live in the sunny state of Colorado, where adventure awaits right out our backdoor.  I must also share that I have a love for Italy! I was a nanny in Italy for about 7 months back before getting married. The culture, the food, the ancient architecture, the romantic slow living…all of it awakens my heart, so you may see a touch of that too!  Life is about experiencing, learning and growing!  Let’s walk together, as we step into all God has created us to be!
